Presenting Tamond and Tevin Hexpaws! Now that it's Skunktempber (NOT SNEK OR SNEP), I figured it's the perfect time to reveal these two's final design with a ref sheet.

Tam and Tev are the sons of the shockingly juxtaposed (and now divorced) couple, Titania, a giant 40ft+ hydra skunktaur swamp beast, and Richard Hexpaws, a wealthy movie studio executive pedigree skunktaur, and public face of the Hollywood-famous Hexpaws manor.

Appearance & Powers

The skunks' main form is a four-armed, double-headed skunktaur complete with a friendly, normally-hidden tailmaw. Though despite their unusual appearance, they have the same smooth, lush, sweet-smelling fur that the Hexpaws family is widely known for, golden brown and honey scented in their case.

The skunk duo were conjoined at birth and are closely linked, but they can temporarily split (up to 48 hours), and even psychically speak with and feel their counterpart as if they were joined! However, caution must be taken as if they've been separated for too long and their magic fails in physically pulling them back together, it could be fatal.

Thanks to the hydra magic inherited from their mother, they can size-shift, change forms, and even grow extra limbs (eg. taurtrain growth). For significant levels of growth, however, they'll need to start chopping! (This is why the two carry a working lightsaber.)

Hydra Magic

Naturally, being a hydra, if you cut off their heads or limbs, they'll just grow twice as many! Physical damage generally causes no pain or discomfort. In fact, it's actually pleasurable to them, especially the sensation of regrowth. Small parts like a hand chopped off will simply die. Medium-sized parts like an entire arm may last for up to an hour and can be reattached even after regenerating a new one. Very large parts like a chop down their entire midsection may- with practice- result in Tam and Tev being able to regrow TWO entire copies of themselves!

When it comes to extra heads, control swaps back and forth between Tam and Tev to keep an even number of each. Unluckily for you if you are combatting them, the "cut off every head" approach won't work to defeat this hydra; Tam and Tev can still regrow double the heads even from none!

Skunk Spray

Instead of normal spray designed to smell foul to deter predators, these skunks emit a sweet, honey-scented spray and musk that attracts them! This strategy isn't as absurd as it sounds, as their spray is also a calming, mildly hypnotic aphrodisiac that will keep you from putting up much of a fight, if not make you want to do something else instead~

Personality

Tamond (smooth hair) is the more mature of the duo, adding some sense into things when Tev has a wild idea. He's smart, slightly shy, nerdy, and super into video games, knowing all the best cheats and strategies.

Tevin (spiky hair) is a free spirit who can't be told what to do by anyone but Tam, and tends to get the pair into a boatload of trouble. He may need things explained to him twice, but he's amazingly creative and starts every day off filled with optimism and energy.

Background

With powers like these, you'd think Tam and Tev are quite the naughty hydra beast, able to reach macro sizes and cause havoc to the nearest city or village. And that's true! But with said, they're not just a wild, rampaging swamp beast like their mom, Titania. With their dad being a wealthy executive, and the Hexpaws estate involved in Hollywood as a beloved, iconic skunktaur family, proving that even skunks can make it big, Tam and Tev have a lot of pressure resting on their numerous shoulders.

The duo are luckily able to avoid the spotlight for the most part. With their humble swamp roots, they don't appreciate their life being public. Fortunately, the Hexpaws family is far from small, so there are plenty of other six-pawed, big-tailed boys and gals for paparazzi to chase after, like their annoying diva half-sister, or their dozens of cousins, aunts, and uncles.

Tam and Tev found their true calling in music, leading to the formation of the indie techno rock/metal band Neon Beat, where they are the lead vocalists and songwriters. Tev plays guitar, while Tam plays synth, or joins in on the double-necked guitar when conjoined.

Tevin soon fell in love with a taur pup by the name of Isy. Dating for conjoined beings can be messy; The relationship was initially met by frustrated indifference by Tamond, but as they got to know each other, it didn't take him long to warm up to the situation. At first they were competitive for Isy's attention, but the two soon realized there was more than enough to go around for the both of them, especially given Isy's inclination to grow just as much as them, even letting them both wrap around the fellow taurtrain as a form of transport~ Privately, their dad doesn't much appreciate the two's sexuality, but their mom doesn't mind. In fact, she's elated their boyfriend is a fellow growth-inclined taur!

Side note: This is a do-over of my OG conjoined skunktaurs Jake & Jason. I was already working on a revamp, but when I adopted Titania, I wanted Jake & Jason to better match and serve as her kids. I ended up changing almost everything about them! Sadly this means there won't be any more J&J art going forwards. Or I guess there will be, depending on how you look at it!
