I think the inspiration for this comic was seeing another comic in which a traumatized character explains their trauma down to a T and the imagery kept me up at night. I wanted to find a way to communicate trauma with a way which both isn't haunting to anyone with similar experiences and also in a way that doesn't add to the idea that people with trauma have to explain it all to everyone.
