Funny you should post that ... for the first dozen or so iterations, I had a massive jet-like engine on the back of this, just on its own layer, turned off - I kept thinking it was going to be integrated eventually, but removed it about halfway through.

Heyyy, seems you had a time-gap inspiration from the best german aeronautic scientists... Or maybe it's the contrary?? ;D

Oh, what a beautiful aerospace design! She's so trim and graceful...I bet she'd be a joy to watch in flight.

I'd be very tempted to interpret her as a small merchantman, and make her a PC ship.

Right now exactly -what- she is is still up in the air for me. Obviously nothing currently on-tech with my player's setting. Could be a prototype from the cutting edge shipyards of Dade, or could be something alien - certain elements make it feel too Terran/3rd Imperium (aside from, you know, being sleek instead of a more compact, squat tube, wedge, or flying brick).

Small merchantman, or intermediate sized scout. If classic/HG Traveller stats, I'd say 2-300 ton, Terran, with fixed weapons mounts in the nose and a turret. If Mongoose - then maybe torpedoes in the nose, and turret.

Or, you know, just call it a Droyne ship - they've been holding this design in reserve for the big breakout

I like the dilly-bop engines on the nacelles/wings. Been fiddling with something similar (going for a '50's taillights' look myself), but not nearly as clean-looking as this, heh.
