In my version, Kodiak and Dusty are a couple, and Dusty's cute moments with Ralph are explained by the fact that he is her older brother). I like this much more, even if the opinion of the creators does not agree with mine (but since I consider the final version to be canon, and not interviews with directors, etc., I don't care much about this). Dusty is a little older than Cody, but this did not become a hindrance to becoming a couple. The only thing that was updated was that Dusty had another reason to get along with Cody ... Balto. Yes, Dusty liked Balto (just look at the screenshots as she looks at him!). I think she was flattered by communication with the son of the legend and, possibly, her idol, but then thanks to communication, spending time together and mutual respect, Dusty truly fell in love with Cody. They have a strong and reliable union)

And briefly about children.

Dante is the firstborn of Cody and Dusty. Surprisingly, he even looks like his uncle, Junoue-Riesco (my version of pup with a strip), more than his father - the same active, cheerful and eccentric, but loyal and kind guy) He always wears a military-colored bandana around his neck (and it is such a brown khaki, not green , under the color of the eyes). She loves to play football with her master. I gave the name spontaneously - I was looking for names that resemble the names of his parents, and then I remembered Dante's Divine Comedy, and I liked the author's name so much that I gave it to this naughty puppy without hesitation)

Speaking of Justy ... Justy - this name was consonant with "Dusty", but it also has its own meanings, such as from the word just - immediately, exactly; fair. And she lives up to her name - she is nimble, active and energetic, adores her little mistress, good-natured and very fair. Proud and knows her own worth, but does not ask herself, and being a good companion, she is the soul of the company everywhere)

Koda is one of my favorites, because he has a very touching look!) He is not named after the bear cub from "Brother Bear", it just coincided - he has combined the first syllables of his parents' names. Koda is a large puppy, he is somewhat similar to his uncle Ralph, but unlike him, Koda is quite dexterous and is not a whiner, but, like that, the puppy is phlegmatic, calm and loves to joke. Koda has a unique colored stripe on the nose. He is the second of the litter, and together with Aliya he stayed with their parents. In the future, they will take their places in the mail team.

Aliya is the fourth and youngest puppy in the litter, named after Alue - a tribute to Kodi's sister. Aliya reminds him of her with her gray color and decisiveness, her purposefulness and thirst for life, but otherwise Aliya is more like Jenna - quiet, calm and very feminine, able to charm anyone from childhood. Together with Koda, she stayed to work at the post office, which is very glad - she really loves letters and the smell of ink! Even the envelope-shaped medallion on the collar speaks of this.
