having spent the whole of last night finishing reading Uzumaki my head's in permanent manga-mode and this feels like the rough draft of a late-occurring page in some extremely psychedelic comic. It could've begun with people attempting to harness the power of transformation, starting safely and well enough at first, but as time progresses and people get more indulgent in their antics, space-time itself is being transformed and folded in on itself into a single quantum abstraction
