—A bright warm light
Won't bring you home.
Did you lie, my dear,
Did you lie?
When the sky is dead
And forever gone
Will you find me?
np: Arkadiusz Reikowski, Mary Elisabeth McGlynn - Farewell (OST KHOLAT)
Only the cold soulless moon could still see the remnants of consciousness in the faceless gaze of the unfortunate ghost, who got lost in the treacherous embrace of the cursed Dead Mountain. The bright warm light won't bring him home. And when the sky is dead and forever gone, the wind will take with it a desperate ghost, from which there will only be a fiery reflection in the snow, which will soon disappear altogether, taking away the mystery of Mount Holatchakhl.

This is a picture based on the plot of the game Kholat. The orange fog, the tower, the snowy forest are all from there. And I decided to paint myself as a ghost from this game. The atmosphere of the game is very suitable for my feelings now. Endless eerie snow-covered forests, piercing cold and loneliness, saturated with despair.
The game itself is based on the tragedy at the Dyatlov Pass. But he tells a fictional mystical version of this event. A very cool, beautiful and important game for me, although in places it is delayed and inconvenient in terms of orientation on the terrain.

I heard about the Dyatlov Pass before. A friend of mine watches youtube myths and he once told me about this and some Russian Sleep Experiment. Seems to be entertaining.
Is it some kind of ego shooter just without weapons and more as an explorer? Seems like it.
Oh, I recently got an old game for myself. Rockman Zero. A nice hero's tale with a dramatic ending (I do like these exceptional stories in which the main character dies). It generates that feeling of taking all obstacles and to take the bitter consequences - so very inspirational to me. For more moody wishes I tend to listen to film musics.

Oooh I really love Slender and "Slender: The Arrival" was my first horror game.
I haven't thought about it, but it really looks like it. Unless Slender is a little shorter and more local. In Kholat, there is a huge location, where you need to be very careful to navigate with a compass and a paper map.
