If I haven't applauded Banjo-Tooie for being one of those early-ish cartoon moments in my life, I really should.
Sure things like harder puzzles, maturing dialogues, expanded movesets and enviroments, and removing the more annoying bits of collect-a-thoning might seems like good ways to make a sequel, but naturally that all pales in comparison to adding a giant stomping dinosaur foot, and giving it an extremely high effort smiiiish in your next sequel if you want me to keep firing it up the old consoles for your amazing works.
and don't forget that heavely sound of rubbery recovery

Really nice job with the squishiness here, I mean even the dino's foot is a bit squishy!
This was always one of my favorite flattening in a game- Something about it being just the head flattened while being able to move around normally is pretty fun to see.
Also yes, the sound used for turning back to normal is probably my favorite part about it lol
Easily one of the most satisfyingly-toony sounds ever made, and fits the recovery effect perfectly :P
