The dance of shadows

The party starts with simple pleasantries you look lovely you to thank you and so on then food is served as people eat we all tack of happenings in the world after that the music starts each and all to their places and the dances begins the dances go by one by one then the music slows to a waltz and the people dance two by two and a shadow slips form a dark corner and on to the dance floor where it starts to dance alone as it does the world slowly begins to fade the instruments and their players are the first to go but the music still plays and the people and one shadow still dance but in time the people begin to fade as well two by two they fade from light to dark and then they are gone and the shadow still dancing all alone the music falters he looks about smiles pots his hands in his pockets walks of in to the darkness all that was left was a dimly lit dance floor and dark flower in the middle of the fading light
