This is the colored version of http://www.furaffinity.net/view/4211913 with the background found at http://www.furaffinity.net/view/4227671 .
I am posting this now for a number of reasons. One is to show I am still around, but not as active as I used to for a number of reasons too numerous to list. Secondly, I colored and finished the central figure and all I need to do is color the demons that are, for a lack of a better wording, being pwned. LOL. ^\/^.
A third reason I am posting this is to show the shadow being made from the light coming from the two swords and the background. One of my intentions in the original drawing and pose is to make a shadow that looks like an eagle in flight. After I put the three monsters in the shadow would likely not show as nicely and I wanted to show it off because I think it is cute and awesome at the same time. LOL. ^\/^.
As a side not, I took out the swoosh lines so that the swooshes (the golden and pinkish light made from the path of the swords) would look more like it is made from the actions of the swords and less like it is colored in the lines like a coloring book. LOL. ^\/^.
The hard part was not so much the coloring, but the shadows and highlights. Normally, my pictures have one source of light with light and shadow from that one source. In this pic I have three major sources, and a minor one made from the friction from the boot making sudden contact with the ground and stopping suddenly. All three sources are different in strength and it took a while to imagine all three sources on one figure and showing it on the figure all at the same time. It gave me a rather good headache at times just thinking about it. LOL. ^\/^.
At least this pic is challenging me enough while, at the same time, giving me a good deal of practice. I am very much pleased with this drawing for it is forcing me to do things I normally do not delve in much while giving the practice along the way. LOL. ^\/^.
