Pleasure Island Photomanip - Could've Been Worse 2
Yup, another mink. See https://www.furaffinity.net/view/41844810/ for the story behind this. Just wanted to play around with photomanipulation a bit.
While in hindsight I could've spliced in other frames together to remove certain elements to make a picture like this possible, I felt it a bit more of a challenge to create this effect with a single picture.

lol the original was dark enough, but this would be even more dark, especially since there wouldnt need to be any need to wait for the curse to remove their voice before taking what they need from the transformeds' new form. heck, bringing them in before the curse can fully shrink them down would make for more potential profit.
Who's to say it even shrinks them?
I like to believe that the folks operating the island were pretty much incorporating a pre-existing curse that had befallen it, capitalizing on the magic that has existed long before they came around. So then, how did this island originate? Where did this curse come from?
Then, I gave it an origin story. That the island used to have a prior owner who sank in everything to develop the island, only to lose out on all his investments because of his lazy no-good son, and in retaliation, he haunted the island and form-changed the people on it who behaved in the same selfish lazy way. Doing so with a similar form-weaving technique as Adomm does, which involves the shifting around of matter rather than creation/destruction. Hence, no size change.

Nice bit of head canon there.amd if there is no shrinkage, they would be turning a very nice bit of profit in that time. A day or so supplying them with cheap beer, cigars, and food, and they have enough potential fur to stock a few racks and shelves with high quality fur items. Even taking the into account paying his crew their portion for cleaning and repairs, and the finder fees for those spreading the word of the "freedom" within pleasure island.
