Well, it doesn't. Except for the rare occasions when it ends up evacuated of course.
Meet the main hero of one of my school papers - lt. commander Matthew Rayder (I know the name sounds like I'm ripping off two characters from StarCraft at the same time, but trust me, this guy came to existence about a decade before I knew something like SC existed... which is no surprise, considering I didn't know a month ago, either. But the truth is the game probably made me think of him after all that time). Originally, he's human, but for some reason, I was convinced he'd look great as a grey great dane...ish thing.
Blame the unhealthy combination of an incoming furry con, too much Batman Beyond and its futuristic version of Gotham, CSI Las Vegas with its flashy neons and LED signs (which are a pain to paint, by the way - kudos to Ghostwalker for helping me find some refs), recent work on Rules of a Hunt concept art which left me with a serious uniform/material obssession and the throbbing need to do something with an unusual perspective. Go me.
By the way, can you unravel all the secret references hidden on the image? (personal note to big black horse - look up...up...and to the right). Except for the barcode eight. I made that one up. I hope.
There should be... ten of them. But of course, due to late night hour, I can be wrong. It's hard enough for me to count when my brain is working, let alone now.
Will be sold at EF art show as a framed A3 print.
Duh... this is the fifth (?) night in a row I go to bed at 3AM. I seriously need a spare iBrain.

Wow this is amazing! Another amazing work, chief!
Uh... so far I see references to the Daily Bugle, Coke, FA, and iPod. That golden canine symbol pinning his cape reminds me of the Road Rovers symbol as well... I'm not sure if I'm right though, hehe.
I could totally use an iBrain; that would be pretty darn sweet.

D'aww, well it was a good try! XD Road Rovers was an old 90's cartoon they aired over here about a team of anthropomorphic dogs. You should Google it! My favorite one was Exile, the Siberian Husky!
I looked at your picture some more, and I found X-Men on the news being played on the big screen as well as the standard "The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog" marquee underneath the Fizz sign. :P I'm also looking hard at the altair and w+w+ sign but nothing is clicking at the moment...
This is kinda fun, haha.

A GRAND perspective, Changer! =O
I'm totally blown away by the detail of his outfit; it definitely screams "futuristic Batman," but, it works, or rather you made it work! xD
My favorite aspect of this picture is undoubtedly his muzzle (the angle certain lets me appreciate it even more); you did a magnificent job on his jowls! Lastly, I love the color of his eye; it definitely adds a bit of softness to his supposedly stern character. ^^

Thank you!
The outfit is actually more like.. ripping off three different uniform designs I have for Rules of a Hunt and melting them together :D
I always try to focus on the character's eyes and subtle details that give away not just expression but also the characters attitude and heart :)
