''My present collection 22nd B-day!''
Hooray! Today is my 22nd birthday! I already celebrated it at the garden I work at, and I got some beautiful presents at home as well! A game cartridge of The Land Before Time, the original 101 Dalmatians film but on DVD, a new toothbrush, a new garden workers' outfit, a congrats card from my sports club Only Friends, an access card for a pinball museum; but I think the most valuable thing I received yesterday, was a letter from Professor Oak from the Pokémon region Kanto! In the letter, I read that I am a very dedicated Trainer and that I may discover many more secrets for many more years to come! There would also be something in my mailbox, but I wasn't sure if the Prof meant, in the actual mailbox outside; in the mailbox on the PC in one of my Pokémon games; or in my in-real-life PC. It was only after a couple minutes that I FINALLY found out that my younger brother was actually the one who put in all the effort of creating a very convincing letter about never giving up and something being in my mailbox! And I was like: ''[insert my brother's name] used Confusion! It's super-effective!'' 🤣
Thank you so much, bro! 💖

I've literally JUST watched the film, and it's ''spot-on'', so to speak! I did recognize some clips from the re-release trailer from 1991, and that was very cool! When we went on a trip to France and Spain, I created a playlist of music on my iPhone with a story based off of the characters from the film!
-- I was the Arctic Wolf of the User Image I'm using right here, and I discovered a deserted tropical island. Soon, I met up with the now almost fully grown Dalmatians, but there was one problem -- Cruella De Vil herself had caught wind of the situation too, and she would try to lock the dogs up inside an old leather factory in order to kill them all by herself! Together with two new members of the Dalmatian family; the adventurous Domino and the shy Oddball; I would make sure Cruella wouldn't harm the dogs -- with all the necessary hijinx to boot!
It's a greatly put together playlist overall, and I am really proud of my new ideas, all while keeping it in line with the film. During the vacation, I also played a lot of Pokémon X version, and one of my main Mons, was Trimmien (AKA Furfrou). Trimmien also has a role in that same playlist, having his own garden maze near the hotel of the resort, the garden maze being a direct reference to the Parfum Palace mission in Pokémon X and Y.

Hey, what a coincidence! Yes, I... sorta have!
I saw someone next to my grandma's house in Sittard, putting up some tables and chairs with lots of old books and films stacked on top of 'em! And I saw the '96 Live Action version while I was taking some closer looks at the stack of VHS tapes that were available. The man who sold them said I could have it for free since he saw that I really loved it!
Such a thing also occurred to me when I was looking around at the flee market around the Abcoude church on Queen's Day -- I saw the very first film of The Land Before Time sitting on a mat with some other old tapes, and I got to have it for free since the seller saw that I really liked the LBT series by looking at my excited face! I think I'm just very lucky with these kind of things! It could also be that the previous owners just wanted to get rid of their old VHS so they wanted to give them to someone else.
Lucky me! 😁 I'm planning on watching both LBT and the '96 Live Action 101 Dalmatians at my grandma's house someday!
