-This was inspired by this piece of art by ThesePantsDontFit/Tinydeerguy ( https://www.furaffinity.net/view/17493245/ ) and he is one of my influences for my art. If you haven't already, check his art out.
-The dialouge on the first panel is from the animated movie "An American Tail." Unfortunately I can't find a good clip on YouTube as a link to the source but generally, the main character was hugging his friend's arm and the friend says the mentioned piece of dialogue.

I believe in Kelly's current bio I written up on her ref sheet, She and RJ are friends, and while Mav thinks they are boyfriend and girlfriend (and maybe its a joke too, idk), they both deny that.
Maybe Kelly would give RJ a friendly kiss on the cheek, and thats as far as it would probably go.
