One of a pair of feather paintings (the next will be 'Sunsoul'). These feather paintings will be in the DragonCon 2010 art show.
Despite being diurnal birds, I always associate falcons with moonlight. Perhaps it is something about their dark eyes, I'm not sure.
This painting shows the the summoning of the moon, stars, and the icy cold of night.

Hahaha sorry :D There are actually quite a few feather artists out there! I would recommend checking out nambroth, as well as Sandra Santara (I couldn't find her gallery on FA) for more feather artists :D
