Green needed a midnight snack and the only thing he found was a strange object in the fridge that says do not eat. You know the rest.

It was late at night, one of those nights where Green was feeling hungry and needed a snack. He groans and grumbles as he didn’t want to get up since sleeping was one of his favorite things to do. He makes his way to the kitchen, looking around to see if there were any leftover pizzas on the countertop. When he noticed that all the pizza boxes were empty, Green chuckles and smiles for a little bit. “Aw man, guess I should have been quicker.” He whispers, not to wake up the others. For years, he’s been living in a cave in the fields a hundred miles away from where he is. The only reason why he moved in was that he thought it would be a good time to try new things.

Still hungry and tired, he decides to check in the fridge to see what else he could eat. Inside, there weren't that many options since most of the food is things that he doesn’t like, are half-eaten, or probably old and rotten. Then, that’s when he saw something that he might like. It was ballooned shape with soft spikes on the top and an opening on the bottom. Green didn’t have any idea what this was, especially when there’s a note on it stating [Do not eat!]. For Green, he was too hungry to listen to that warning, and possibly pay back for stealing all the pizza to whoever wrote the note. He grabs the strange object and closes the fridge. The touch of the coldness gave him the chills on his hands and arms. “Well, hope this fills me up.” He opens his mouth and consumes the entire thing in one bite. He chews which gives out that soft feeling with the taste of rubber which makes him wonder who would refrigerate a rubbery object. Green then swallows it, filling him up fully. “Mmmm, that was good.” He says, satisfied while rubbing his full belly.

After a while, he was starting to feel funny. It was like he ate more than what he had. That’s when he looks down at his own belly and watches as it expands out unexpectedly. “Wha-!?” He pokes his own inflating gut as it doesn’t stop swelling up. “Am I…..blowing up?” His voice got a bit louder as he didn’t care about letting his roommates sleep. The sound of the hissing is what gets Green alerted, like he was turning into a balloon. He whimpers and starts to panic, having no idea how to stop it. He guesses that the strange thing he had just eaten might have either gone back or have some strange side effects. Then his butt bwomphs up, making him blush in embarrassment while his other limbs like his legs, arms, hips, chest, hands, and feet start to swell up too. Green waddles around the room, hoping he could get his roommates to wake up. “H-help!” He shouts, trying to get their attention. “It...won’t...stop!” Just then, he accidentally trips on a chair and falls belly first onto the ground. He whimpers more while wiggling his sinking limbs, turning him into a giant round orb with the chance of bursting into scraps. “Mmmmph!” He muffles since his cheeks were too bloated for him to speak. All of a sudden, his body becomes so light that he starts floating into the air like a balloon inflated with helium. His rounded back hits the ceiling and bounces. It was a good thing that he didn’t go outside as he was swelling up.

His orb-shaped body moves the furniture around, giving him more space to inflate even bigger. Just when he felt like his fate was coming to an end, the swelling stops and leaves him immobile, near-bursting, and very embarrassed. Whatever was in that thing he had just eaten, Green made a very huge mistake. He has to hope that his roommates better deflate him instead of playing with his body around. Maybe after he’s deflated and back on the ground, he might reconsider going back to his old home since the new life isn’t working out for him. And it’s a lesson that he should never ever leave his comfort zone unless he’s being forced to.
