Drawing of My Babyfursona, Abbey.
Abbey was, if anything, curious. The minute she got the chance to slip out of her fathers sight was the chance to search her mothers room. Now granted, she was a cub, unable to comprehend the fact that her parents separated, but no matter. All of her mothers things were still there, and she knew exactly how to get into the dresser that held the most precious of items.
That time, was now.
Quickly, she stole away from the living room, her father fully engulfed in the ramblings of the Box-people (Television for you adults). as quietly as she could, Abbey opened the door to her mothers room. It was quaint, light furnished with a small T.V., queen size bed, a night stand, and a few drawers. Of course, what complimented the room is what made it a witch's. The Paintings, all of old bygone wizards, warlocks, and family members smiled and waved at the toddler as she gave them the "shuuush" face, putting a small paw to her muzzel. A few only rolled their eyes, moving and talking quietly to the other paintings as they usually do.
Toddling over to the vast, and giant dresser (to her of course), she set about opening it. First were a few words, not much else then easy passwords (they WERE dealing with muggles you know). A touch, twice, thrice, on the left handle and tracing your fingers up the right side, and bingo, the dressers right door faded to reveal the witch's clothing underneath. Thrilled and excited to see the memorabilia again, she dove right in pulling out her mothers old school robes, and scarf. Abbey disrobed, not really realizing she didn't need to, all the way down to her cloth diaper, Chucking everything else aside. After donning the blue and bronze scarf, ravenclaw colors, she quickly set about searching for anything else.
As luck would, or wouldn't have it, there was much more to be discovered. Abbey tried on several hats, finally finding one that kind of fit, only staying up by the sheer will of her ears. More searching and discarding (this is a very deep and long wardrobe i hope you know!) until she happened upon something that she never thought she would. A wand. Of course, it wasn't in plain sight, it was delicately placed in a long burgundy box. Quickly, but not very quietly, she stole it from its place, opening the box and shoving the top away.
Her eyes, if they could, would be glowing with a radiance of the sun. Her mommy never let her touch the wand she always had by her side. So being able to hold, even feel, the thing her mother used was more then she could have ever imagined. Picking it up, she realized very quickly that it was old, probably from a grandfather or mother. Abbey tried to flick it around, saying spells and other things but nothing worked. She pouted, tapping it against the ground before holding it in both hands, trying to concentrate REALLY hard. Then came something, a spark. Not really anything anyone other then a curious cub would get excited over. Which she did, gleefully squealing an laughing loudly, doing it again and again.

*pokes your nose and hiccups* :3 beep!
i don't think you did anything wrong. :3 it sounds splendidly written and everything seems to be in order. I see nothing that might be awkward, nothing that i'd suggest rewording. I did like the trick with the dresser. X3 very nifty idea.
