well yeah... this is what i do all of my artwork on, hehe nice and compact cant complain about that, ok now for specs! teh laptop is a gateway 6021gz runs at 1.4ghx with default 512 ram (i upped it to 1024) 1meg cache, 60gig hd.. the screen resolution is 1280x800. i also got a cheap Microsoft mouse $20, and last but not least my wacom tabled *huggles tablet* set me back like $170 but was worth every penny!

Well the only two places i have been that sell tablets are Futureshop and London Drugs, Futureshop only ever seems to have 2 models at a time so there is like 0 selection, London Drugs how ever, the few i have been to.. they supply Wacom (i recommend going with them) but there are cheaper brands, but i have known people who have had them, they are adequate, but they can be glitchy and the pens for the tablets require a AAA battery.
hmmm, you in the States? lol im up in Canada here and we have a random chain called London Drugs, its basically a big ass convenience store, they do prescriptions and sell electronics, they usually got some nice computer sections and a good supply/ selection of tablets :P
