Shadow Sprites are little creatures that live in older buildings, especially houses, and protect it by eating any ghost or spirit foolish enough to enter.

Anyone lucky enough to have a shadow sprite living in their house will find them to be very inquisitive and friendly. Their favorite shadows to sleep in are that of humans as they are the coziest of all shadows. Oftentimes they will bond with a member of a household, and follow that person outside of the home by staying in their shadow.

But allowing a shadow sprite to leave its home isn't the best idea, as it makes it vulnerable to wayward spirits, who have a natural affinity for old buildings.
