I decided I wanted to start the 100 Warriors challenge. However, I won't be doing this crap EVERY day. I wanna see how far I can go with it before my drive dies away. XD

Anyways, I always saw this scene as being hella grungy, obscuring Firestar so much that he looks like his pelt is blanketed in flames. While in reality, his fur is a reddish brown color, having only gotten that from his father Jake, who I imagen was a Abyssinian Cat. His mother however, being a brown tabby patch female, would dull down that color a LOT. I also see him as having mild tabby striping from his mother, alone with the white tux like his mother as well. Those eyes are what really stand out. In my mind Firestar just saw his eyes and thought, "His eyes are like a New-leaf bush in a wild fire." This isn't confirmed, only a head-canon I had.

So, what do you think? I went for a more rough style with this picture, but not all will be this way. I think some will be more fancy, others edgy, ext. I want them to really reflect the cats themselves. Firestar is wild, free and sharp, but also dusted by his kitty-pet background, making come off as someone who needs to earn that respect from his clan and the other three/four clans to prove he is worth his leadership!
