I just had to draw Ali again, its been a while since she's had a full colour pic done.

Nothing too complex, just playing around with colours and the depth of field.

Unfortunately at that size, there is bound to be a little chaos. Nice of you to notice - I wanted the picture to be sub divided. From top to bottom, the setting changes.

Complex was perhaps not the right word... 'casual' probably fits the bill. As for the flag, just a little back story on her origins.
Im not good with words, but past drawings will give you clues.

Always a treat seeing Ali make a grand entrance! Lovely sheen on her hair whipping in the high altitude winds up there, and the deep blue lighting really really shows off the long distance and massive size of her! Wicked nifty!

My JAW makes a landfall! Really like how you're doing the bluish atmosphere hue on your characters lately, especially at these huge sizes. It helps a lot with the sense of scale. Also, Ali is looking gorgeous here! Love how her expression says she is superior, yet not in an arrogant way. :P

hehe, happy you like her natural expression ... and yes. At that size, the atmosphere is super important as there is not structure to directly compare her size. Some clouds could help, but I decided to keep it clean for once.

compliments on the visual direction, the shadows flow toward the lighter bottom, while you follow her face down to the curve of the hair which then cuts across her middle into flowing with her tail, said tail angling to the calves which guides the viewer to the falling water over her heels and into the chaos unfolding below.

more traditional art techniques often get missed in furry art, I am just as guilty as everyone else in that regard. so it's pleasant to see it pop up from time to time.
