Character
Name: Tuya
Age: 11
Weight: 38kg
Bio
Tuya was born in a small village, the same one as Xandu. Where she happy grew up for the first 4 years of her little life. One day she expressed her desire to learn more about the herbs her mother was using in a broth and this inspired the little snow leopard's mother to ask her friend Xandu to take her daughter out with him to learn which flowers to pick. This was what saved the young snow mew, the last sounds she remembers from that home, were the screams and roars. Gunfire and flames. Xandu was a friend of the family and practically her uncle even before the great hunt and after he took care of her as if she was his own daughter.
He tried, his best at times and more, to make sure he could at least keep her fed and safe. The day a human settlement took her in it was almost Tuya's fault they were again shown to the wilds. The sight of humans terrified her, but her father came up with an idea. He found inspiration to try and make a weasel plush for her to hug onto as a means to cope. It helped, barely but the girl slowly grew more and more adjusted to the idea that not all humans were out to hurt her. Five years of schooling and classes before the young leopardess could read and write. But in that time she taught her father at one point.
Now seven years since the day it all went bad. Tuya is a mostly functional young teen, going to school and making a friend or two. Though still sticking close to home. The day however came, when her father got hurt while working. Stress and panic filled her once more at the very idea of losing another member of her family. She barely held her mind together as a human nurse lead her around her tail trembling till she saw her father already sitting up and awake on the medical bed. Practicality and logic left her as she tackled him, her form trembling as she just wailed. If that was all she had to deal with that day, the head nurse walked in to lecture her father about not wearing a helmet on a construction site. Only for the conversation to change pace. The head nurse was a snow leopard like them, but much greater in size than little Tuya. And this angered her more than her father not wearing a helmet.
Amal was gentle with the fragile snow mew, and it was thanks to her presence... and the instinctual benefit of allowing the younger girl to hug her fluffy tail while a doctor examined her, that she was diagnosed for her malnourishment. That term felt like a hammer to Xandu, but Amal and the doctor prescribed a diet plan for the little leopard to become much healthier than she was. No one told the male hunter how to take care of kids, but this still didn't help him not feeling bad for his daughter's apparent slipping health.
With her life now on track and a small group of support surrounding her, who knows where this aspiring book worm could go?

Here we have an absolutely amazing piece of work by my friend
I can't put into words just.. how incredible this was. I got to see parts of her creation and it is still breathtaking.
Tuya has a sad start and a bumpy up bringing but I wanted to explore a character going from lows to soaring heights and her future will continue to improve... else, that future will involve not one but two pissed adult snow leopards and you just don't want that violence in your life....
