Marimba grew up with a fascination of the insect world and would often be seen outside attempting to catch bugs whenever conditions are just right to do so, but she always seems to try snagging bees & hornets especially, but it always to get them to flowers to pollinate, or released elsewhere, respectively. When it came time for Juni to take a trip to the Battle Network universe, Marimba was one of the children he took with him after he promised her the fact there are bugs in that realm she can catch. On her first day, she; along with her siblings that went with her, received a PET with NetNavis to use while in the realm. Her navis are HornetMan.EXE and BlastHornet.EXE, reflecting her love of bugs. Her first day of school was met with quite the positive reception as Marimba and her present siblings all made friends with a huge chunk of the class of 5-A rather easily. Even so, as she is not one to sit idly and is ready to lend a helping hand if asked to do so. Marimba, as one might expect of any in Juni's family, has a big heart and tends to be quite friendly with anyone she meets. Regardless, there are times when she can get snippy, especially concerning anyone who's not being reasonable. A avid bug lover, she loves spending her day trying to catch bugs to learn more about them and is a renowned expert on hornets, wasps, bees even. But despite this love for bugs, she is not a fan of flies, or bugs that bite & suck blood. They drive her nuts to no end. A walking encyclopedia about insects.
⦁ Abilities: Being 1/2 mermaid, Marimba is capable of taking on her mermaid form anytime she enters the water. However, as she can only do so in fresh & sea water, bath water is unable to trigger the transformation. Marimba is rather tech-savvy, capable of handling operating her NetNavis without any trouble whatsoever. She tends to use chips that deal damage up close, or add secondary effects to others. As stated above, she's quite knowledgable on various bugs, able to explain which is an insect, and which is not. She is also able to accurately assess what the males & females of different species look like.
⦁ About # HornetMan.EXE is a Wood-Type NetNavi created by Junichiro, being one of the NetNavis made for Marimba to use. HornetMan.EXE appears similar to the Robot Master he is named for, but instead sports the usual navi arms & boots that give him that slim & trim appearance netnavis generally possess. As for the honey comb on his torso, it is retained in terms of appearance & function, but all 3 sections are smaller and detailed into his chest rather than having 2 of them on his shoulders. He is also able to form his hands into busters armed with mean stingers. He even has hornet wings which he can summon in order to fly when the need arises. When he was introduced to Marimba, a strong bond was formed from the get-go as Marimba really loved his insect themed basis. After a virus busting lesson, he soon found himself falling head over heels for Kalinka's own insect themed navi HoneyWoman.EXE and became determined to ask her out. However, he hit a number of road bumps in his attempts and was met with 4 failures in his attempts to woo the bee-themed netnavi. However, HornetMan.EXE never gave up since he reflected on what he was doing wrong and with tips from Marimba & Juni, not to mention after saving HoneyWoman.EXE from a rough encounter from a Heel Navi, he was able to finally win HoneyWoman.EXE's heart, and the two officially started dating each other from then on out. Yet this does not change HornetMan.EXE's sense of duty and remains a stout soldier when the situation calls for it. HornetMan.EXE is programmed to be a rather stout soldier, but this doesn't stop him from fancying himself to be quite the lady's man, as evident by the fact he was able to win HoneyWoman.EXE's heart through trial & error. He is also known to be quite cold to his opponents, and is very calculating to boot. This combination makes him an effective assassin as well. He enjoys his quality time with HoneyWoman.EXE, going as far as to brave a sink in honey for her, but at the same time: He does not take too kindly to anyone who eyes his girl and can be quite defensive about it, but is never overly protective fortunately. HornetMan.EXE's attacks tend to focus on dishing out raw damage instead of doing damage & inflicting secondary effects. His abilities are as follows.
⦁ Air Shoes: HornetMan.EXE can stand above holes. His wings will appear when he moves onto a space with a hole to indicate the ability's activation.
⦁ Float Shoes: HornetMan.EXE is unaffected by negative panels.
⦁ Hornet Shot: HornetMan.EXE's basic attack. HornetMan.EXE launches a hornet drone down the row he is facing. Wood-Type.
⦁ Hornet Chaser: A stronger version of Hornet Shot and HornetMan.EXE's charge attack. HornetMan.EXE launches 3 hornet drones instead of just 1 and they home in on different targets. If there's only one target, then they will all gang up on it. Wood-Type.
⦁ Stinger Buster: HornetMan.EXE launches a stinger from one of his busters down the row he is on. It can be charged to launch 2 stingers down 2 rows. Wood-Type.
⦁ Stinger Punch: HornetMan.EXE arms his stinger buster, but he will actively punch his target with it instead of firing it. Sometimes he'll do a 1-2-Uppercut combo if the opponent has more HP. Wood-Type.
⦁ Fell Stinger: HornetMan.EXE will fire his Stinger Busters as normal, but should the attack cause deletion, his Buster Rank will go up by 1. Wood-Type.
⦁ Vital Point Sting: HornetMan.EXE disappears, and quickly reappears behind the opponent to jab one of his arm stingers into one of his foe's pressure points. This actually deals a massive 300HP worth of damage, but HornetMan.EXE usually uses this as a finishing move to give the impression of an insta-deletion move. Wood-Type.
⦁ Hornet Swarm: The most powerful attack of HornetMan.EXE. He will send out 21 hornet drones that rain down on his enemies. If 1 target is present, then they will all gang up on it. Wood-Type.
⦁ About # BlastHornet.EXE is a Wood-Type Cursor Attributed NetNavi created by Junichiro to be used by his daughter Marimba alongside fellow hornet themed NetNavi HornetMan.EXE. The two got off on the right foot instantly due to Marimba's fascination with hornets and BlastHornet.EXE being based on such an insect. BlastHornet.EXE appears similar to the reploid he is named after, but his abdomen is notably opaque, meaning what's inside cannot be seen, and it is also smaller than the original's, roughly by half. He also has noticeable mandibles which always open whenever BlastHornet.EXE is speaking to someone. In effect, BlastHornet.EXE is comparable to a drone instead of a queen. When he was introduced to his classmates' navis, some were a little unnerved by his appearance, but settled down when it was learns he means them no harm. Though he was not used in the 1st virus busting lesson, he proved useful during the attempted school takeover and was able to crack many codes unaided. Even so, his usefulness did not cease there and he is ready to assist with whatever problem is within his capability. BlastHornet.EXE is a rather gentle soul and he would never dream of harming innocent people despite what his appearance would suggest. Unlike his brother HornetMan.EXE however, he does not fancy himself a lady's man (Though he does like women) and when asked if he tried for HoneyWoman.EXE's hand as well, he simply said "HornetMan can have her for all I care". However, he does lose his composure on occasion, but mostly when he is mistaken to be a wasp instead of a hornet. Only then does his temper explode. Despite this, he still likes mingling with others and enjoys making new friends. Unlike his brother HornetMan.EXE, BlastHornet.EXE does use secondary effects such as immobilization to inflicting random bugs. Therefor, he mostly relies on strategy. His abilities are as follows.

⦁ Parasitic Bomb: BlastHornet.EXE fires a bomb down his current row. If it connects with the target, they will be immobilized by the bomb and damaged by the explosion that follows soon after. ⦁ Stinging Dive: BlastHornet.EXE flies up out of attack range, readies his stinger, and dive bombs the targeted space. If more than one foe is present, he will always choose a random target. Otherwise, he always targets the opponent's exact square. Wood-Type.
⦁ Stinger Tower: In the event BlastHornet.EXE misses his target with Stinging Dive, wood towers will erupt on all 3 rows spanning 3 columns deep. Wood-Type.

⦁ Parasictic Bomb X: BlastHornet.EXE uses Parasitic Bomb as normal, but the bomb actively absorbs HP from the trapped target at a steady pace, until it becomes rapid, stealing a total of 250HP. When the bomb explodes, the HP stolen is sent straight back to the user, healing him. If it is used on an enemy NetNavi however, it instead creates a souless copy of said NetNavi and the copy is CPU controlled. The navi clone lasts for 20 seconds, or until all its HP is depleted from attacking it.
⦁ Blaster Laser: BlastHornet.EXE's most powerful attack. BlastHornet.EXE summons a cursor that will move about until made to stop. When it stops, BlastHornet.EXE opens fire with a powerful blast that leaves behind grass panels in a + fashion, or X fashion depending on how the cursor stopped. Sometimes he'll follow up firing the laser down his current row, too, which will expand into a T-Shape that also sprouts grass panels from the blast. Wood-Type. Cursor Attribute.
