I LOve drawing Giraffes - and of couse who is everyones favorite giraffe? Kadath of course and his lovely love-toy Puzzle. I did this as a gift because I wanted a bit more practice with backgrounds and some interesting critters and I admired Kadath's work.
This is a 16x12 Acrylic on Bristol with marker and ink.

If you don't mind me asking are your characters based on anyone or just made up.
For me i have my fursona and do have rl siblings but for my fursona I just made up a sibling character for him.

hmmm probably somewhere between 10-15 hours aproximently over several days of course. I normally just pick away at stuff: do so much and have to go make food or do whatever, but usually I just let stuff sit unfinished in my work space (which happens to be the middle of my livingroom) and every time I have a spare hour or two I sit and work so I don't keep track of time as such :P
