Patreon Activity - August 2021
August concluded the 4th anniversary of my Patreon celebration which included releasing a new $30 tier. On that tier, doodle requests of characters of my cast are finished as polished sketches rather than be dependent on winning a poll. This is especially for individuals who have enjoyed their doodle request so much they end up asking to pay to finish it. =w=
August was the undisputed busiest month in my freelance work I have ever had. Over 31 unique pictures were completed in some capacity either as fully finished or polished sketches, making it more than one per day. As you can see in the preview, there was a substantial amount of quality involved and there were many more I couldn’t fit on that teaser.
We also saw me starting to rollout a new product offer for my work, Your Character Here’s (YCHs). These are sketched on a printed off template in graphite and then scanned in and colored as is digitally. The core goal is that they are fast projects with a lower final cost than my typical work. The feedback and community response I’ve gotten on what I’ve done and shown off so far is delightful. With this style of work, I think I finally found what I need to do to really succeed professionally!
We saw two new characters added to my cast officially, Noelania the Cerberus Arcanine and the Krystenov the Zangoose warrior.
Also, the 2nd “Big One” of the year was finished featuring Sierra the Ninetales giving a very disapproving loom over Zosia the Delphox. >w>!
Going into September, I already have a queue of two weeks of pictures ready to post so you all already have a lot to look forward to!
The theme for most of the doodles this month was characters depicted in Bob Ross inspired landscape themes!
