To me personally the song is about the struggle of a young gay man, who dies alone, but then a handsome angel comes to pick him up and loves him forever, unconditionally.
Its a song that made me feel loved, during the toughest teenage years, when I was bullied for being gay and life was shit, and I just wanted to be held by a man.
I heard this song again one night some days ago when I couldn't sleep, and it still warmed my heart, so I painted this picture for it.
