Xeno nommed a dragon orally and thought to try what other dragons do and keep him inside his belly for a bit to see how other dragons feel when they nom something other then just simply absorbing them outright. Xeno enjoyed the feeling of being full so he'll keep him inside for a bit longer till he fully absorbs him into himself.

Xeno seems more... Hmmm... I'm gonna say "forgiving," in the way he interacts with others. Like... his modus operandi of absorbing others and incorporating features of them into himself. I assume they retain some... feeling, while they're in there?
I say this to contrast him from... a lot of preds out there. But.... there is one character who he suddenly reminds me of in particular, though I know they aren't the same.

you are correct on that usually he is friends with the ones he absorbs and gets some of their features and keeps their consciousness intact inside his body and can release them anytime he desires but ones he devours and doesnt keep intact are ones he despises and usually uses his tentacles to devour them and of course dont add their features to him
