Bran's face is very hard to read because he's mostly black, so you can't see his shadows.
I wanted to show some expressions with him which is why I gave him such powerful eyebrows, but those aren't being used yet.
I think his general mysteriousness and hard-to-readness is actually what makes him scary.
But then again... the whole point of Bran is that he doesn't seem scary until it's too late to run.
