This is Choui. At least that's what his name is now...

This was my old fursona since I can only assume 2013??? He was a birthday gift from my brother, I don't know the artist.

I have an even older fursona picture somewhere from back when I was in middle school.

I used to just call him Bananas, or he is BananasTheLeech. But I grew old with the basic dog, or husky...
I stopped really caring about using him as my fursona part of the way though high school. I didn't know what I wanted to be for a few years, and kept coming across a few ideas or wants. But never made anything solid, and I was too anxious or nervous to look for and poke an artist about getting a new reference sheet. And for the past year I've been reaching out to artists and making friends, getting easier to just treat artists like other people. Then I said fuck it and nailed down what I wanted to be, and after a sweet commission from  Chloe-dog I am the proud owner of my very own new fursona! https://www.furaffinity.net/view/43464006/
I have kept a few things to pay homage to my past and keep things fairly in line, like the blue ear tips and the red tail tip, as well as the more teal colored eyes for contacts. I also made more stylistic choices, like copying Thunder's cloudy fur, and making some cool black fur gauntlets and greaves.



As for this character after I stopped using him as my fursona I chose to keep him, and sorta treat him like my kid. And to keep the silly Bananas name for him, I picked Chốui, Vietnamese for banana. ( I didn't have to choose some random foreign language, but I did because Choui sounds like a simple and cute name. )
