Mine is a real tail as well. Mostly they come from either animals that had to be..terminated..for the welfare of the local ecosystem, humanity trying to maintain the checks and balances it threw massively out of whack by all the nonsense we do.. some of them come from native american hunters... but mostly they do come from fur clothing and rug manufacturers. the tail portion, while being iconic to the fox, is simply not useful for clothing production, by and far.

Either way, buying a part of a dead animal is not murder. Its like saying meat is murder. The animal is already dead, you can either put its remains to use, or leave them to rot and decay, which is the bigger waste of a life?

Leaving it to rot is the bigger waste.

My point. That which has been done cannot but undone. If you dont feel guilty, then its fine, and if you do feel guilty, just be sure you make it mean more to you then just a piece of clothing or accessory. The shaman of the old tribes of man wore pelts to grow closer to their spirit. If it represents part of who you are then you are paying all the respect to the animal it could expect.

I'd love to get a tail of the animal that represents me most, but sadly I can not.

I don't feel guilty about buying this tail, because actually bought four, and gave three to my closest friends, they wear them with me.

I do support the industry.

Now I'm not saying they should go out and kill every animal and make clothing from it.

And if they didn't kill the animals, they would over populate and die any way.
So why not kill them so they all don't die, and use there fur so it doesn't go to waist?
