My time out in the Outer Banks was interesting. The sheer amount of people, houses, vacationers. My first day out was difficult, I spent the time working on finding my compositions, working on working in an environment I am entirely unfamiliar with. I spent time walking around with my cellphone snapping photos, working the composition back and forth, until I finally went and got my camera and got to work. I had wandered the circumference of this house until I found this final shot. Simple, familiar, but still a challenge in its own right. In the final edit I decided to move in the direction of HDR to counter balance the mostly blue sky, give depth to a amazing environment.
