After that...unfortunate match Dennis had with a certain wolf, EVERYONE started to believe they could take on the massive labrador-Husky with next to no difficulty! People teased him when he was drinking smoothies at the beach, people were mailing him girly faux-sympathy cards and some people even started a hashtag about him online! Dennis had a pretty large fan base despite his poor W:L record but this was the first time the golden furred mutt felt like he was legitimately a loser at wrestling! If he couldn’t handle a beginner who was at least a foot shorter than him, what hope did he have?! Determined to remain in the game, Dennis would choose a random big-shot wrestler and try to build up a reputation again with a win to his record. After blindly dragging his finger across a list of potential wrestlers, he came across his future opponent... Adam Greene! AKA “The Rebel!”.

The promotions that were set up in the wake of the match were more than a little hardcore for the jobber pup. The people running the event wanted this to be a feud match and actually made Dennis accuse his fellow dog wrestler of pushing his grandma down a flight of stairs despite that NEVER happening in reality! Despite the hostility on camera, the two labrador’s actually hit it off behind the scenes and actually bonded over their similar tastes of music! Still though, both dogs were determined to give it their all during the match. Adam came into the ring, wearing his trademark red and black pants and boots. He looked across at Dennis, charged at him at full speed and then...nothing happened! What a lot of people tend to forget about the 7’0 tall pooch is that despite his absolute lack of skill, he is VERY strong and VERY heavy! Despite charging at him with enough speed and strength to topple a regular heavyweight, Rebel’s charge barely affected his target. Confused at this, Dennis awkwardly stood in place before people from the crowd started to yell at him to hurt his opponent. Shrugging his shoulders, the jobber awkwardly threw a devastating punch at Rebel’s head, earning him a nasty shiner of a black eye thanks to the raw strength packed away in it! The massive mutt continued to swat at the smaller canines head and body, causing bruises to pop up on that expertly sculpted torso as well. Treating this match like it was a game, Dennis then wrapped his arms around Adam and hoisted him up for an accidentally brutal bear-hug! The shaggy looking dogs spine was reduced to a fine dust after such a tight squeeze! As the matched continued, the Rebel made one last attempt at beating his opponent! He wrapped his python-like arms around Dennis’s waist, summoned the last of strength and tried to hoist him up and over behind him and to the canvas floor! Before he could even lift the mutt off his toes though, Adam’s back gave out from the massive undertaking before he suddenly collapsed to the ground. The jobber, more confused than anything at this point, awkwardly pinned his fellow wrestler to the ground, securing a win for himself! As the injured lab was carted away by on-site medics, Dennis quickly accepted his victory from the crowds before chasing after Adam to make sure he was alright. Two things were certain after tonight’s match, Dennis made a new friend and his reputation was at least partially restored after his previous loss...


So this was a VERY nice surprise! Over on Twitter, XtremeRebel was asking people for potential characters to draw and I casually dropped my character Dennis as a reference since I didn’t expect to actually snag any artwork. How wrong I was! I was lucky to receive this lovely art of our two dogs fighting! I can’t describe how much I love this! Thanks again, dude!
