inspired by a harrowing experience on an island that SUPPOSEDLY has no large predators. my friend and i were stumped on the identity of the snarling.. animal of some sort roving in the pitch dark upsettingly close.
i didn't recognize the death cries either, but it killed something not far off.
since our CSI:NATURE skillz couldn't unveil its identity, we decided it was the montague beast (since that's where we were)
it unsettles dogs and slaughters small herbivores in the nighttime. here it is frolicking in some phosphorescent seawater.
