CLEARLY, they have never before experienced the Pacifist Crush, much less the Kindness to All Creatures Kick.

Or the dreaded "run after you on the battlefield, tossing food, shelter, and clothing at those in need" maneuver, which has been known to fell entire legions. (Seriously. A roasted wild boar to the face, followed by a sturdy log cabin dropped from afar, and topped with enough sailcloth to wrap it all in a bow, and we'll just SEE if anyone's left standing...)
