This picture has a story.
Last time I received a commission from  sambud, I saw that he made two WIP drawings using my character. One was this painting, and the other was a drawing drawn in line art. I liked the painting and thought I needed reference art, so I bought two paintings and a reference for $130. After that, there was no news for 10 days, so I sent a note and said that it would be completed by tomorrow. Then I waited and he took the money and disappeared. His shock was even greater because he was not on other SNS and only contacted the FA. Deciding that it was not worth waiting any longer, he decided to just post the WIP drawing he had completed. Since there is no reference art, Wooyeong is drawn differently by each artist. I'm thinking about whether to make reference art or just to respect the artists' individuality as much as possible.

이 그림에는 하나의 스토리가 있다.
저번에  sambud 님께 그림 커미션을 한 개 받고 나서, 나는 그가 내 캐릭터를 이용해 2개의 WIP 그림을 만든 것을 확인했다. 하나는 이 그림이었고, 하나는 선화로 그려진 그림이었다. 나는 그 그림이 맘에 들기도 했고, reference art가 필요하다고 생각해서 그림 2개와 reference를 130달러에 샀다. 그러고 나서 한 10일 동안 소식이 없어서 note를 보냈더니 내일까지 완료하겠다고 하였다. 그러고 나서 기다렸더니 그는 돈만 들고 자취를 감추어 버렸다. 그는 다른 SNS를 하고 있지도 않고, FA로만 연락했기 때문에 충격은 더욱 컸다. 더 이상 기다리는 것은 가치가 없다고 판단하고, 그가 완성한 WIP 그림을 그냥 포스팅하기로 결심했다. Reference art가 없다 보니 Wooyeong은 작가들마다 다르게 그려지다. Reference art를 만들지, 아니면 그냥 지금처럼 작가들의 개성을 최대한 존중하도록 만들지 고민이다.
