This is the sign display I made for IFC. I wanted to have something to show what all the different types I could do looked like, and I thought it would be especially helpful to see the same piece each way. Now, having three copies of the same piece would be very space and time consuming, so I tried this, which also has the advantage of looking neat (I think).
I'd like to either add computer coloring to this (not sure where) or do a new one that also includes computer coloring.
I also like that this sort of looks like it phases through time showing one piece from start to finish; that isn't true, though. A sketch being done for a finished piece wouldn't have so much detail or shading, and some of the inking detail (especially the hatching) I would leave out of a piece that was going to get painted.
Also also, God that sword was hard to draw but I loved it! Rapiers are both the best looking swords and the hardest to draw.
