Note: Just a cute little story I came up with today. I hope you like it.

“This is starting to get so boring” said as he sighed. He looked towards runabout.

“Tell me about it.” Runabout responded. The two of them were on duty, guarding the entrance to a decepticon base on Cybertron. Nothing exciting had happened all day and the two of them were starting to get pretty bored.

“How much longer is our shift?” Runamuck asked.

“Only two hours to go until someone else takes over” He answered. “After that we will be free to do what we want for the rest of the day.” He added.

“Oh...oh... I found a huge junk yard the other day, want to go blow stuff up after work just for fun?” Runamuck suggested excitedly.

“Sure... just try not to go crazy with the explosives this time. Last time we did something like that you almost blew my head off haha” Runabout said laughing.

At that moment a tiny rumble met Runabout’s receptors.

“Wait did you hear that?” He asked

“Hear what?” Runamuck questioned shrugging.

“That!” Runabout said as he heard the noise again.

They both paused and listened for the strange rumbles.

“Maybe someone or something got inside?” Runamuck suggested placing a hand on his hip, turning slightly to look at the large metal door they were guarding.

“How would they have gotten passed us?” He asked confused as he scratched the top of his head.

The battlechargers agreed to investigate inside.

The large shiny metal door slid open to reveal a long corridor leading to the inside of the base.

~~Grrr~~
The noise was heard again causing the two decepticons to pause before entering. They both looked to each other. They nodded to each other signaling they were ready to move in. They started making their way into the corridor. The corridor was dimly lit due to some of the lights not working. One of the lights flickered whilst also making a small buzzing noise. The corridor was mostly lined with silver panels which shone a bit in the lights.

~~Grrroar~~

“What was that noise?” Runabout thought to himself as he looked around carefully. Both of them had their weapons at the ready, prepared for whatever horrible creature was making these sounds.

~~Clank clank clank~~

A different sound was heard, the sound of metal feet. Someone was approaching them. Runabout and Runamuck held their guns in front of them as they looked up to see...Dead End!

“Oh Dead End...it’s just you!” Runamuck pointed out in relief.

Dead End gave them a concerned look. “What’s going on?” He asked.

“We keep hearing this strange rumbling noise” Runabout explained “ we are trying to work out where it is coming from” He added.

~~ Grrrruumble~~

The sound was heard again. Louder this time. The three of them stopped to listen.

~~grumble~~

“Maybe it’s coming from Shockwave’s lab?” Dead End suggested, pointing in the direction of Shockwave’s lab. Dead End joined Runabout and Runamuck as he too was also curious about where the weird noises were coming from.

~~~Groan~~~
~~~Grrrgurgle~~

The mysterious noises got even louder and started to sound more intense as they made their way to Shockwave’s lab.

The lab was a brightly lit room with multiple scientific equipment and inventions lined around the room. These gadgets had many wires,tubes and blinking lights attached to them.

In the middle of the room, Shockwave was typing away at his computer when he noticed the three cons walking in.

“Ah hello. Everyone” he greeted them. He had turned around to face them. He was sat on a spinning chair. “How may I help?” He asked.

“We’ve been hearing some strange noises and we wondered if you might know cause of them?” Runamuck explained.

“What sort of noises?” Shockwave questioned.

“Mostly rumbles and sometimes a few gurgles.” Runabout said.

As if on cue, another very load groan was heard. Shockwave listened carefully.

Shockwave followed the noise which caused him to look towards Runamuck.

“I believe, I have found where the noises are coming from” Shockwave announced
“ There...” He said as he pointed to Runamuck’s middle. This caused the white decepticon to blush a little.

The rumbles were coming from Runamuck’s tank all along.

Runabout bent down and placed his receptor near Runamuck’s tummy for a closer listen.
Runamuck’s tummy continued rumbling.

“Haha we were following Runamuck’s tank growls the entire time!” Runabout laughed.

~~burble~~

Runamuck placed a hand on his tummy. “Guess I didn’t notice how hungry I was getting...” He laughed still a little embarrassed.

Shockwave brought out some spare energon cubes he had left over. “This might help” he said, handing them to Runamuck.

Runamuck started eating them immediately, causing the rumbles to stop shortly after eating a few.
