Cute icons! What brushes are you using to achieve those great textures? (I admit, the top two made me go "whoa what..that's not my icon! when I saw the color scheme before the characters. Derp. XD )

LOL I've never seen your icon before today, I just picked it because I thought purple would go with the milkshake... great minds think alike I guess? XD Highly amused that it even has the teal border on the heart, I swear it was totally coincidental.

They're the same brushes  cornershop uses, she made them. I don't know how to make textured brushes to save my life. I should probably learn though.

Hehe, I believe you - my uncaffeinated brain just found it confusing/funny this morning. I loooove bright/saturated color combos that visually POP -- so I can understand. :D

And yeah I just feel dumb when stuff like that comes up, rare as it might be. My default dark b/g color is often a dark purple or a dark teal.
