(Yay! More story time! ^^)
Whatever number of civilians were left wandering the evening street ran full force away from the sudden attack. In their panic, a few dozen others were left behind unconscious; the unfortunate victims of the villainous general’s new monster.
“Not quite the turnout I was hoping for,” spoke the general with his usual gruff, gravely authority. It was fitting for the darkened Entei dawned in spiked, metallic armor and leather; the picture of the Dark World Army’s high command. “But, we still have a good number of new subjects for the good doctor. Pick up as many as you can.”
Beside the general, clambered a hulking mass of shadows. The shadow beast seemed to resemble a Machoke with various, glowing Unoun symbols traveling its body. Out of its back protruded various metal poles that sparked with dark energy, perfectly matching the creature’s malicious growling and glowing red eyes.
Before either could take a step forward, another voice entered the fray.
“Yeesh! Another Dark Beast? I know the Dark World Army is all about big, strong war machines, but I didn’t think fighting you guys would get so dull!”
Turning to face the voice, the general spotted the source of his increasingly chronic headaches: a young, arrogant Eevee wearing a local high school uniform. The gleam of the now brightening street lights illuminated the boy’s peculiar wristwatch and pendant.
“New monster, same old formula. Don’t tell me you're running out of ideas, Old man!”
“As cocky as ever,” the General grumbled.
“~Awww, am I being a bad boy?” the boy replied with a mockingly, childish tone, “Does Daddy need to give me a spanking?~”
“Don’t tempt me, boy.”
“Well, sorry to disappoint you, Daddy, but the only ones getting their asses whooped are you and Mr. Beasty over there.”
Withthat, the Eevee raised his left fist upward, the peculiar wristwatch facing outward, and shouted, “Embrace the Element!!”
Around him, masses of energy in various colors swirled as they gathered towards the now glowing device.
Whew! Now this turned into a bigger project than what I even expected. But, once again, in honor of the most recent Pokemon GO Community Day, I present to you all Roy G. Bivalant the Eevee. By day, he’s just a normal, everyday senior High School student. But by night, he defends the innocent and keeps the peace from the machinations of the Dark World Army as the great hero, Elemental EV-Tan.
Basically, this fusing a bunch of Magical girl/Power Rangers genre tropes together with Pokemon. Admittedly, I didn’t have a solid idea for every form when I started this project so some of them feel rushed out and in need of a little polish. But, I just spent a whole week on these and have no energy to go back to them right now. So, sorry everyone but, please accept these rough designs for now. Maybe (and I mean MAYBE) I’ll come back and clean up these designs but, don’t expect it to be very soon, if at all.
All that said, I would like to know: out of these hero forms, which one is your favorite design?
