Whisky and Brandi with Chaser
If you go to my scraps you can see the original drawing that this is a remake of. I re-watched Redline recently and started thinking of this old idea. Been thinking of making a pitch bible, at least that way it can be a formed idea.

So I looked up your scraps and saw the original. Lol I wonder how late it must have been, you must have been closer to sleep than conciousness heh.
Unfortunate that the picture in scraps has no comments, so let me at least leave mine.
First impressions is a pretty stout 'Mad Max: Road Warrior' vibe, but with the cartoon gloved hands on Chaser I would say there is a different element.
So, to start, I would say the setting is post apocalyptic, but at a time when society has (more or less) already readjusted and reaffirmed itself, in a sort of 'wild west' sort of way. The rule of law has been established, but there are still plenty of outlaws running wild out there ... which draws us to Whiskey and Brandi.
If I had to guess, Whiskey is the black cat and Brandi is the ... Spaniel? Whiskey is the brains of the operation, and there may be a connection between Whiskey and Chaser ... maybe he built Chaser, or is at least able to repair and refit Chaser as needed. Brandi, on the other hand, is the hard-as-nails character who calls the shots, pulling the trigger (quite literally) on where the trio head next.
Given the plethora of arms, I would say the setting has several fortress cities which themselves are impenetrable with large populations, but rely on trade with each other. Therefore, Whisky, Brandi, and Chaser could be private security for the land trains that travel between cities, protecting the goods and cargo from the roving raider bands who patrol the wastes, looking for the next land train to stop, pillage, and burn.
A story like that would provide a lot of action packed scenes with room for humor and sexual tension between the two characters. They dont ever NEED to get physical, but perhaps one could implement a running gag that before the two ever have a heart-to-heart moment something blows up or something.
Very cool idea, I hope to see more.

Lol your pretty much right on the money XD. There are a few things though, Whisky is a low level wannabe gangster who's good at getting into trouble but also shooting his way out of it. Brandi is a dachshund (except big, I just like dachshunds and wanted her to have floppy ears, also thought it would be funny to have her be a dog thats normally depicted as small) who built Chaser in her dead dad's garage, she also is the Driver.
as for the glove hands, I though it would be neat to have the vehicles in this world have manipulator arms similar to Outlaw Star, except inspired by older cartoons. If you've ever played the old Xbox game Cel Damage that where I got the idea from.
but yeah all of your other assumptions are correct. It flatters me that either people know me or my drawing was able to convey that XD
