So, I usually come up with characters on the fly, coming up with what species they are etc (which is why some species persist). There are only a few characters that were actually sketched out first. Lady Danborough's maid, Bertha (yes, I named her) came about when I was sketching out medieval maid outfit designs. Lady Danborough was not sketched out, but she was originally going to have black hair, that changed when Lady Vargass (who also wasn't sketched out) made her appearance on page 124. Lady Vargass was going to be blonde, but the black hair suited her better. As the later pages (when they're done) will reveal, I'm glad I changed Lady Danborough to a blonde.
