Land-Jaws, A Were-Tiger shark or Rokea. A hunter of the deep.

He has a type of made-up harpoon/speargun which is propelled by air pressure cannon. Yes, it welds no rope. Don't think he needs one.

Love how you colored and have all the textures and the lighting!

I'd imagine it's rather difficult being underwater and whatnot but man that's awesome. :]

nice work. a bold image. creature seems to have an interesting and surprisingly sensible body type. although i rather like the old piece as well. they seem very different besides the subject matter.

The gun design is interesting since it looks partly organic as opposed to fully organic.
That would indicate to me that it was crafted by a civilization whose culture is influenced more by the land than it is by the sea.
