Hey Zenith I am still having some trouble figuring out the background stuff. Does your background actually go over the image you colored or under it? Do you literally just "throw" a texture or design on it while reducing the opacity? Or is there more?

My layers usually go like this, from top to bottom:

1. Lineart (Multiply at 100% opacity)
2. Texture (Overlay at whatever opacity looks good)
3. Character colors (Normal at 100% opacity)
4. Background color (Normal at 100% opacity)

OH! I didn't realize the texture was one thing and the background color another! -slaps forehead- Now I get it. So the texture is it a general black and white or gray and white type of thing?
