I honestly don't know why almost all people who tell me they do not draw robots end up agreeing to draw Philo for me.
(vice versa a lot of people who do routinely draw robots end up hating me 😅)

her comic is still incomplete due to the artist getting extremely ill and now needing to re-learn how to draw in her new condition.

But the story basically works like this:
It starts out as the story of her maker making her, because she is not truly intelligent at the start, just a "moving mannequin", capable of much, including examining a situation and taking decisions... but... not really "self-aware" so to speak. As the story progresses and her maker gets over his mental problems and finds an happy ending the story shifts to her, as she is was sold. The problem is that she was sold to somebody who just wants to reverse-engineer her and sell cheap copies of her, flooding the market. So as she is being disassembled she gets ahold of magic... and rebuilds herself. At which point her true story begins... but not as herself but as "Philekdikisi" which is basically her "young adult edgy phase" where she looks like a demonic version of herself bent on revenge for having been sold. Naturally... she gets not revenge. If anything she dies to save the very people who built her because through her actions they were brutally murdered and she understood she was getting her revenge against the wrong people. So... after dying 3 times (1 while saving her maker at the top of his folly, 2 while being disassembled by the people who bought her and 3 by using all that was left of her magic and was keeping her alive to rebuild the wife of her maker) she finally decides she won't die anymore and when rebuilt a 4rth time this time she playis it safe and does help bring more of "herself" to this world but via safer means.
In the end all of the canon SOGBIRD™s are (in order of story appearance)
• Philomela (the first - "nightingale")
• Philekdikisi (the edgy demon-like rebuild Philomela made of herself - "likes revenge")
• Philafelis (one of the cheaply manufactured ones, given life because she, as Philekdikisi, could - "naïve friend")
• Philophana (one of the 3 robots made by Philekdikisi from the partially build SONGBIRD™s she finds in her maker's workshop - "likes lamps")
• Philonike (one of the 3 robots made by Philekdikisi from the partially build SONGBIRD™s she finds in her maker's workshop - "likes power and victory") (this has not appeared, yet)
• Philepetra (one of the 3 robots made by Philekdikisi from the partially build SONGBIRD™s she finds in her maker's workshop - "likes stones")
• Philagness (her "mother figure" Apurva, rebuilt as a robot with the last of her magic "pure friend")
• Phileneoptera (the war machine the army asks her maker to build as payment to hide him, his rebuild wife, and his "daughters" - "friendly new feathers") (this has not appeared, yet)
Every other variation is either "non-canon" or in-universe "promotional material" or in-universe "discarded ideas" or they only existed in the dreamscape world that Philomela goes into once she leaves this world.
