Bald is Beautiful... and Kiari needs to KNOW that! She brought me to tears as she watched me draw this. "That looks like me, that looks like me mommy!!" She was so excited and bouncing, she held the picture so close to her heart and even took it and sat down to look at it. :) I'm glad my art could make my Princess so happy. :D ♥

Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia, chemotherapy is causing her to lose her hair, and after we found small chunks in the floor of her room yesterday she's become quite upset. She even went into the bathroom and got a small pair of hair cutting scissors and started snipping. She will be 4 on September 2nd.
it's a hard thing to deal with, but treatment shows that she has a 75% chance of being cured, and 5 years after she gets off of treatment if she doesn't relapse she will be considered cancer free. That's a long road ahead though, we haven't even made it through 4 months of treatment yet.
