I got an interesting idea for my favorite Yeti, involving a magic bionic UFO. One much more advanced than hextech.
It can open up its lower section and use it like a YoYo, drone or even mouth to abduct and engulf targets.

It was whizzing over the Freljord in the Aura Borealis when it saw Willump using magic to make the Aura wave and fold. Nunu was also watching it and playing with him as they danced with the light. Shapes manifested. A Yeti rolling a snowball, a poro king bloeing great fire, and and a strong buff man with a very large shield battling the baron nashor. The UFO didn't know these figures, but it was intrigued as it observed the foreign interactions.

Like blitzcrank, it had great intelligence and was alive, and had even developed a mind. It was slowly starting to recognize that some emotions and positivity are "happiness", and some activities one associates with that emotion are "fun". Now, as it watched the two frolic among the merry poros, wanted part of it... but the only creature down there that it wanted fun with was Willump. In part because its sensors picked up that he was the one manipulating the Aura, and that he was the one making everyone else happy and have fun. Another reason was because it was jealous of the strong bond that Nunu had with Willump. It was alone... they were having fun... and wanted Willump to itself.

It sensed its unhappiness as a bug, and wanted to resolve it, so it began to assess the situation. Several minutes passed as it watched them play and filled its databanks with the newfound emotion, and its unpleasant counterpart. The sun set, leaving a bright red, twilight sky over the Frejlord. The poros and Nunu had all cuddled together to keep warm, while Willump, too heavy to join, sat nearby and watched the moon.

The UFO finished its analysis and determined its next move, sending a mind-numbing hypnosis wave down upon them, to subtle to notice. The wave put everyone in a deeper sleep if they were already asleep. Willump however, was dazed and hardly able to keep his head up. He was fully unaware of what was happening.
Then, attempting to draw him to it, the UFO mimicked Nunu's voice patterns, tones and frequency, producing a childish laugh. Even asking Willump to come play tag.
The Yeti's head bobbed up, eyes half open as he heard his friend, and he got up and sluggishly walked toward him. The UFO bobbed with joy before coming down to his level. It eagerly let him touch it, lift it up and spin it, as though it were a child. The UFO laughed childishly, making Nunu's voice as the two began taking turns playing tag across the Freljord; one of the activities that it had scanned. Then they played in a magic Aura that Willump made, like earlier. To Willump, it looked as if Nunu wasa using magic to fly around, smiling and cheering. When it was over, Willump was laying on the ground, exhausted at carrying the UFO and running so fast.

The UFO was delighted at experiencing such fun. It never wanted the fun to end... but when it analyzed its protocol, it was displeased.
As a UFO, it was to observe, document and occasionally experiment on "suitable" objects of no natural importance, as to not cause destruction. It was also to take any peculiar objects with it. Willump was a peculiar object, but his relationship to the surroundings made him unsuitable. Jealousy began to well up even more in it, as it didn't want to let Willump go back to Nunu and the Poros.

So it decided to make an exception. This time, it released the hypnosis and shot a strange beam at Willump, who grumbled and huffed as he lay unconscious. The UFO shot a mind control beam, suppressing his mind and implanting a shared version of its own. It began flexing its toes and wiggling its new arms, looking around with feelings it hadn't felt before, colors it had seen, but not like this. It was even happier. Willump would no longer return. The UFO dubbed its new body its "friend" and began sharing copies of its data to its new friend in the form of psychically transmitted data/memory. The two began conversing about all the things they had seen across light years of travel, and the "fun" things in the Freljord. They laughed and smiled in agreement.
The Yeti was now the UFO, and the UFO the Yeti, and both desired to move across the cosmos as one... but it didn't intend to just take something deemed unsuitable, due to his natural importance. It would make sure that the surroundings wouldn't suffer.

The two returned to the others; Willumps' sleeping friends before executing a special protocol. The UFO had marked the entire group as a "peculiar object", deciding that they all should be taken and documented for study. Also because they were now it's friends through Willump.
As such, it gave Willump the order to transfer them into its storage banks, and the Yeti proceeded to open his mouth. He paused, realizing that he didn't have the software in that body, like the UFO did. So the UFO emitted a beam of light that transferred copies of its programs to Willump as well, as long as some bionic, alien armor that helped operate them. The Yeti was enveloped in the gooey, green light as he was empowered and transformed, given living, bionic and alien armor that enhanced the UFO's control and software capabilities through him. Even giving him a tail with an orb that can record its surroundings or project a shield in defense. It to upgrade its new friend as a present. The armor also would grow back if removed, adapt and generate the resources necessary to sustain Willump's body. In a way, it was what the UFO was designed for.

This time, Willump opened his mouth and shot a green beam over all of them, unaware of what was happening under the UFO's control. They all disappeared into the green light before being sucked inside of his now bulging gullet, still asleep, and now in stasis, where they wouldn't age, starve, thirst or take damage. The UFO gave Willump/ itself the command to share its mind with them as well, now also covering them in alien armor and controlling them.

All data and suitable objects were acquired. Happiness and fun, and friends were achieved as well as the mission. The UFO would continue with its mission across the cosmos, playing with its group of friends.

Eventually they would return, as the UFO found something even more peculiar to study and record. Or be stored in its mothership under stasis. According to its data, the Void would not eventually pose a threat to the Freljord, or its home planet, so there was no danger.
