I haven't decided on a name for this odd character, but it's certainly going to be something fun and strange!
This is the sibling of my other character, Quell. (Linked below!)

They specialize in a sort of bug-control. They can communicate and control bugs with magic and some level of psychic ability, to perform various tasks. The bugs are part of a hivemind when used for tasks such as scouting or fighting, with this character at the center. In other cases, they simply communicate with the bugs for information or just entertainment!
They are a little unhinged, impulsive, and sometimes just crude, and their morals and intentions are sometimes vague, or fall into more questionable territory. Regardless of this though, their brother still loves and protects them, and they do the same for him.
As mentioned in the other post, the two are traveling nomads. Quell, their brother, runs a mobile fashion business! While the business is not always lucrative (some cities or towns they visit just aren't interested in their wares), they always make by.
They contribute to their brothers work by having bugs produce threads, whether silk or spider webs, it is sturdy and efficient, even luxury in some cases. They also give inspiration through their sometimes outlandish behavior, or just rambling on about things they find interesting. Quell is never short of ideas with their sibling around.
Their magic is innate, and self-taught through trial and error. They don't know why they can do what they do, but they certainly aren't complaining. It's fun to be able to talk to creatures with so many different abilities and personalities. All of them with different shapes, sizes, colors, and patterns. Usually the bugs are cooperative as well, especially because they are shown interest (and a level of compassion) that many other people usually do not have.
I plan to use them and Quell as optional party-member NPCs for DnD. If there aren't enough players for a full party, such as having one or two players, I would like to give the option of filling out that extra space with characters that can help fight or provide more interactions and plot! It also provides me with the ability to be a little bit more involved with the players and the world I create. (And gives me an excuse to play as well!)
