How can a President be "radical" when he doesn't really do anything but make TV appearances. (He's much better than "W", though).

1. Throws the people of the US under the bus in favor of unions
2. Signs bills that neither him or congress reads (e.g. Obamacare, Stimulus bill)
3. Hires anti-American people into his cabnet

1. People of the US are in unions (despite, or because of, the fundamentally broken nature of Trade Unionism)
2. Yes they read the dumb bills you nerd. They wouldn't have known which special interests and fundraisers they were pleasing if they didn't know what was in the stupid thing.
3. No he hasn't but it'd be great if he did.

Look, you're misunderstanding my point. It isn't that Obama gives lip service to Trade Unions, which I know he does. It's that these Trade Unions are fundamentally inadequate for representing the interests of the U.S. Labor body. If Obama were actually interested in improving the conditions for the U.S. working class, he wouldn't give lip service to the SEIU, he would give hard, actual aid to a REAL workers' organization like the IWW. Conservative unions like the SEIU simply won't cut it.

I live on the same street as the SEIU's president, as an aside.

not to get into a political debate. but on number 2. our last president signed a bill almost no one read called the Patriot Act.

the problem is a lot of people throw around the term socialist, and communist and liberal and many other terms around and seem to have no idea what they mean other then "its what I dont like and is evil"

He always was kinda chubby, though. I think Mr. Kelly fattened him up as the years went by.

For sure P.T. was chubby, it's one of the many reasons why I liked him :) Perhaps he changed a little, I don't have many examples of him from the 60's.

I remember seeing Pogo For President the clay-animated feature on Walt Disney Home Video and the Disney Channel !

I actually have Pogo For President on VHS, I remember seeing it in the early 80s on HBO when it was a new network. Wasn't for a few years later when I found my brothers Pogo books that I decided "I want to be an artist."
