Man, I LOVE my new art toys! I Did a little research and went and invested in some Copic liners (set B), large Copic marker sketch book(cause I want to try them in the future, and it's suppose to take watercolors well,) as well as a really nice (Ohto) .5 mechanical pencil and some soft blue leads for it (Uni[which erase like a dream and drop out in the scan beautifully!])
This image is the result of me FINALLY (after a week of staring at it all,) getting to play with them. And I think I am goign to say goodby to digital inking FOR GOOD! I think I love my new two characters too. They are from a story I'm working on right now and will be making more appearances over the coming months.
Enjoy! ^.^ (oh, and I didn't finish inking her cause I lost track of the arm and hand at midnight)
And no, this artwork is not for anyone else to use with out permission!!

Thank you much!
Yeah, I've been going to quite a few conventions this year and some of the MOST AMAZING pieces I fell in love with were being done with Copic markers. Sadly, I don't have any more "extra" $100+ to try on getting a set (and there is like 4 DIFFERENT color sets to choose from!) so the copic arts will have to wait, but I figure I should prepare and get the paper and pens. I am quite happy with them, and they don't fade when I erase my pencil lines. (HUGE PLUS!)
