SO THIS HAS A STORY
It's been a while, hasn't it? Work has kept me SUPER busy the past couple...I dunno, years? Years. I definitely haven't been posting a lot in the past three years. Whew. But I'm excited to be finding time and motivation to start arting again. Even got a brand new tablet that has been amazing. It's incredible how much a difference a thinner stylus pen can make. @u@ It doesn't hurt so much to work longer periods of time now, that time's gradually getting shorter the more I get the hang of it. Control is...different, but comfy and easy to adapt to. Almost like a regular pencil!
6-ish months ago, I stumbled across
blackdragon44 and their beautiful cervitaurs. I've always loved all kinds of taurs but never could really get them right and gave up a number of times. But those pieces hit a soft spot and inspired me to try my hand at it again; and what was born of the attempt was a series of sketches and concept work (uploading shortly!) that I'm eager to turn into something wonderful. So with that, I introduce Marigold, a curious and spirited cervitaur whose (mis)adventures will likely be taking him through the woods he calls home and beyond.
