I told myself that I would do this all in one sitting, and that I wouldn't erase until I was finished with my lines. The first thing that came to my mind was my childhood interest in railroad signals.

I don't believe I was meant to draw. I spend too much time erasing, and my details are always lost in my media (pencil smears, ink lines are horribly thick and crooked, colors washed out or pitted with white specks). It takes me days to do something that should take hours, because I spend all my time thinking about how what I make is never what I visualize.

This didn't turn out right, either.
